ISO 9001:2000
EdC successfully underwent the final stages of ISO 9001 implementation in December, 2007 and was successful in gaining full ISO 9001:2000 accreditation. Our Quality Management System has in place a Quality Manual which outlines all of our Quality Control Procedures for the administration and assurance of delivery of a high quality of service to our client. A brief outline of our procedures are as follows:
- Project Management Workbook – PMW: A log kept through the life of the project to record all aspects of the project.
- Design Calculations: Design calculations are carried out in accordance with most recent standards and codes.
- Design/Project Changes: Significant changes are recorded in the PMW. Normal development changes are detailed on draft prints and appear on next drawing revision.
- Design Verification: Specific checks and reviews to ensure that design outputs are accurate and meet the client’s requirements.
- Design Validation: The finished design is checked to ensure it meets with the client’s requirements.
